林書豪重新回到先發名單，湖人出戰雷霆的比賽，林書豪拿下19分為全隊第二高分，但是很可惜湖人防守不夠嚴密，遇上進攻火力猛烈的雷霆，終場還是沒能贏球，但是林書豪這場的亮眼表現，讓許多球評都稱讚，球技更成熟了。>>
球評：「林書豪在三分線出手，林書豪又投進1顆三分球，這是他在這場比賽的第2顆三分球。」
三分線上2投2中，重返先發陣容林書豪手感發燙，突破雷霆禁區一人直闖籃下也得分。球評：「林書豪一路切到禁區。」
全場上場時間超過30分鐘，林書豪繳出19分7助攻2籃板的成績，延續著明星賽後的好表現。球評：「他(林書豪)是湖人陣中表現最穩定的球員，進攻上非常積極，防守上也顯得沉穩，他目前的表現算是相當全能。」
雖然這場比賽湖人以10分落後敗給雷霆，但球評一致大讚林書豪的球技進入「成熟期」，賽後林書豪也透過手機app傳了這張照片。
和有菲律賓血統的後衛新秀克拉克森比個耶，兩人都是亞裔又一樣是後衛，堪稱NBA罕見組合，不停有新血補進，老將也得面臨改朝換代的現實，飽受傷勢困擾的奈許就正式宣佈退休，言談間難掩失落。
湖人隊球員奈許：「有很多的遺憾，包括在我的籃球生涯中，沒拿過一座總冠軍，更別提我有多熱愛上場比賽的感覺。」
奈許宣佈退休，但很多球員還是將他視為偶像，過去的輝煌紀錄球迷也相當難忘。
